Kali’s Taboo Story:
In ancient times, the world trembled under the tyranny of demons who spread darkness and terror. Seeking to protect the innocent and restore cosmic balance, Goddess Kali emerged from the depths of divine consciousness. With her dark complexion and fierce countenance, she wielded her sword and danced a furious dance of destruction, slaying demons with unyielding resolve.
As Kali's wrath surged, she entered a state of uncontrollable fury, intent on purging the world of negativity and evil forces. Her relentless rampage threatened to engulf everything in her path until Lord Shiva, the supreme deity, intervened. Knowing only he could calm her, Shiva lay down in her path. As Kali stepped upon him, her fury reached its peak.
However, upon seeing Shiva lying beneath her with an erect phallus, Kali was momentarily stunned. The sight of Shiva, her consort, reminded her of their divine union and brought her back to her senses. Instantly, Kali's destructive energy transformed into compassionate wisdom and she withdrew her rampage.
From that moment on, Kali became known not only as the fierce slayer of demons but also as the compassionate protector of the innocent and the remover of egoic illusions. She teaches that true liberation comes from confronting and transcending one's own ego, merging intuition with wisdom to achieve spiritual enlightenment.
The ancient story of Goddess Kali's reminds us of the cosmic order in everything, where her fierce energy serves both to destroy negativity - and to guide souls towards evolution and liberation from negative ego. Using all is harmony and good for all.
